Now that the Period 5 cutoff date is end 1982, what floating disks can we use?
As far as I am aware they still need to be maximum 300mm.

The Suzuki RG replicas are around $550 each:


These Brembos were at the island this week and searching the net shows they are ok:


What else?
Anything affordable?

Check directly with Ross martin at MA, it may be easier to get the facts rather than look at bikes at the track. Sometimes they are not kosher.

I am saying that big expensive changes need proper research before installing them. It is unsafe to inspect existing machines and asume they are correctly log booked.
There have been examples of mistakes taht have been replicated only to then get pinged at scrutineering.

Lets face it John, the brakes issue in p5 has been a joke for ages and has been confused further with the recent change to the cutoff date. They should just bite the bullet and adopt the same approch as the CMRC in the UK. In fact that should be the basis of a sensible rule change.
