Special Thanks to Bondy.
Mark, I meant to write something when I saw your entry about the sale of your outfit. At a time when we were trying to build sidecar team numbers up at HMRAV events in particular, you came along with your enthusiasm and mad Ararat mates and added to the field. I have said to Max Hooper, fellow sidecar promotion team member, a couple of times, that you helped the resurgence of sidecar numbers at that time. Your enthusiasm rubbed off on others and things moved ahead. Ultimately we have had up to 44 chairs at events we could only get 4 to in the early 2000's. In the 1970's we could get big fields as well. Anyway, your contribution to help promote chairs needs acknowledgement. Now you are riding solos, we will still get to enjoy your company, and we may be able to convince you of the errors of your ways. PS I am sorry you were not big enough to be on that show "Biggest Losers' we could have had a gr8 chance for additional promotion. regards John Daley Chair Historic Management Committee, Victoria
