just wondering if the rules in regards to p4 engine size/classes have changed yet.its hard to get a 2 stroke to compete with the 1160 big bore honda. its a shame the rules allowed this to happen. all we get to see is hondas

The Lap record for Barbagallo is held by a stroker, H2 Kawasaki tuned for a West Aussie by Neville Lush, Neville won the Nationals at the same event again on a H2. Suzuki GT750s have lapped in the 8s and 9s on slicks so properly prepared and tuned should be competitive there as also a big bore kit available for the Suzuki which took it out to 1000cc, imagine a 1000 cc two stroke on methanol that would make everyone sit up and take notice. The kit was made in Qld, dont know who by but with some research it must be possible to do again. Another option is to graft an extra cylinder onto a GT 750, this was done for speedway in WA and the engine still exists but isnt for sale. One other option that comes to mind is to graft two 500 twins together maybe two T500s. There are options available but it is probably easier to go down the road everyone else has.

Sorry Slider I dont agree with you. You cannot expect to change rules to suit a new situation.
I have seen the H2 beat the 1000cc Hionda on more than one occassion.
A well prepared 2 stroke will often beat the big bore Hondas, the trouble is most of teh Hondas are well prepared and many of the potentialk competitors are not well prepared.
