Posted - 13 Jul 2011 : 10:15:41 PM Well in one sense he just stated the obvious. My Dad hit a culvert or suchlike at Silloth and was in a coma; older tracks were deadly, simple as that. I was interested by a comment Stoner made regarding the new trend in run-off areas that are just painted concrete or the like, meaning bikes can stay upright and re-join - he didn't agree with them, saying 'mistakes should be punished' Maybe, but coming off shouldn't be compulsory if you make a mistake either. |
