This clip shows Ray Moloney from East Malvern Club, warming up the Honda CR93 at Winton in 1984. His kids like this stuff, as their father died when they were about ten years old.

I've become concerned that our racing history might become lost forever, so I'm spending a bit of time on this. A lot of the stuff has come from Johnny Maher's VHS tapes - 'The Magnificent Seven' - Barry Sheene - East Malvern Club stuff in particular. There are 10 tapes, and I'm working my way through them!

Jason, I'm only sorry that I haven't got more! The only reason that I have the 1984 6 hour, is that I stayed home and recorded it, and missed the meeting at Winton, on the same day. If you watch the videos I've put up about that meeting, you'll hear the commentator announce the results of the 6 hour. They had a TV in the tower, and gave updates during the historics. If you know anyone with old VHS tapes of the racing back then, if they send me a copy, I'll capture and upload them. I'd really like some footage from the early 60s. I got a bit of stuff about Darley and the island in 1962, but it's very poor quality - I uploaded it anyway.

Yes it is.

I must say, it's great you are putting up a lot of quality footage from many eras.
