I just picked up on this scary move that is being championed by some EU politicians.
If they get this through it is likely that some idiot here will think we should go the same way.

There are two things that should always be considered when rule changes are proposed.
The first is who benefits?
The second is what will be the effect?
There are, unfortunately, people who like to control others.
We are being herded into a pen so that we can be controlled.
The future of road racing is more and more being channelled into production bike racing and inventiveness and ingenuity are being stifled.
We need to wake up before it is too late.
We could end up with Henry Ford's offer, any colour as long as it is black.

WARNING ! WARNING ! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON !
I'm writing to the EU to suggest that in future all motorcycles should be powered by Eveready batteries ! I've got shares in the company. Have you ever heard the phrase 'qui bono' - it means 'who benefits ?' It's sort of like MA writing rules requiring OEM racing machines.

The kit car industry in the UK is bigger than the rural sector. Your warning is just as relevent to that as it is to motorcycle building.
