Does anyone have a specific formula or accurate knowledge of the equivalent bhp gain by weight loss?? I believe its something like 3kg loss = 1bhp gain equivalent.

This is the closest I could find

HP = weight/(ET/5825)^3

HP = Horsepower
ET = Elapsed time over quarter mile
Weight is in pounds

Loved the Wikipedia article, the Honda motoGP racer seems to be one of the most efficient on a p/w ratio (0.72hp/pound)until one looks at an OS 2.5cc model aircraft engine (1.7hp/pound). Lol
