Dear P6 riders and interested parties,

P6 750 and 1000 has been included in the Supp Regs for the 2012 Island Classic as an Invitational class! This is an outstanding opportunity to put P6 well and truly on the map and I can't think of a more impressive debut for P6 than The Island Classic!

Schedule is TBA but it is advised we will have essentially the same program as the other classes and trophies will be awarded. Entries close December 16th.

Thank you to those who have submitted P6 Expressions of Interest - can those of you who have either not received this previously or not completed yet please complete and send back to me (for ALL classes not just 750/1000)

Some important notes:

- Logbooks are a must - if you are not yet logbooked, pls get this underway if you are entering.

- 600 four strokes will be accepted as part of the 750 class.

- Phillip Island have emphasized the need for machines to be prepared to a high standard.

Any questions please call Nigel Taylor 0405 115 786 or Jason Light 0409 151 995

Good luck with it, Jason. Great to see you guys up and running. There always seems to be a problem in historic racing related to updating the cut-off date. I believe that any racing machine over ten years old is obsolete. However there are even modern machines of historical importance which are worth preserving. What seems to always happen is that there is nowhere for those bike to go, so they simply fade away, lost forever. I'd really love to get hold of a ten year old MotoGP 500cc two stroke, and preserve it. If it only got a squirt once a year at Broadford Bonanza, it wouldn't be all bad. Perhaps promoters could run some demo hot laps for some of the more recent good bikes, at their race meetings ?

sorry not doing the island this year jason going to tassie for the titles and that will get the visa smoldering so for the first time in 4 years no island for us . sadly the cost of geting the whole show from WA a place to stay and the not insignificant entry fees have lead to this outcome.i would love to be there to punt the gixer around but thems the breaks!!!

Would you mind letting some of your members know with 750's Jason Edwards (?) FZR750 and Vinton on this forum. I already emailed John Mathers

Excellent ! And surely HMRAV can't be far behind after some of the dismal turnouts at Broady in the weekend.
