I'm not usually in the business of crticising a guy's machine when he's out there having a go. But how does that Aerial 500 single with all the pipes, the carrier rack on the back and the big car PCV get to even race at meetings? I believe it's owned by an engineer - seems he's never heard of 'value analysis'! Things like this Period 3 Aerial and the BSA with the 1975 four valve Jawa head which raced for ten years and won everything, just make a joke out of historic racing!!! I believe the rules say something about'must be visually and technically compatible with the era'. Who's supposed to enforce them?

Is your machine authentic or merely eligible? |
