Kurt one of our ambo volunteers from Seymour St Johns, has organised a promotion stand in Seymour to promote the Southern Classic. The stand is to be out the front of Liquor Works in Seymour - the owner of the shop has organised this with Kurt. We have space to display 3- 4 sidecars and + solos. The display will include display bikes and posters/handouts - flags etc - to colour it up. The owner of the shop is putting on a big bbq and will have a tv going with the footie finals at the same time. We think it should be a great response as most will need to go to the bottle o that day at least to stock up for the arvos footie finals. The owner will be dressed in footie colours!!!. I am writing to you all as I am now in need of getting some bikes up there for the day. Our working bee for the S/C is the following day so maybe some would camp overnight etc??... Neill and I can transport some solos up there on our 4 bike trailer so if any one is interested but just cant be there, please contact me. Myself and Kurt and Neill will be at the site for the day looking after the bikes.
I hope to hear back from some of you re this.

Come on you guys how about a putting your solo on display or is it just going to be left up to me with one sidecar???
Kurt has been busting his balls promoting the Southern Classic at Seymour,Euroa,and has even taken a trip to Mt Gambier in his travels.
Not a bad effort for someone who doesnt race but is still active in the racing scene.

So come on people in Vic (Interstate crew totally exempt) how about getting ya bike up there and showing the community of Seymour what we are about.
I will take up your bike for you if you cant, anything to get a bike or two on display.

From all reports on Sat. afternoon this was a roaring success with many tickets given away, the local paper coming down, the mini sidecar was the highlight with all the kids getting involved. Tracey reckons we should get a crowd from Seymour as a result of this.
