I raced from mid 60s to mid 70s. After 1972, every man and his dog had an RD in C Grade. It was the mainstay machine. If yoiu fir one with TZ chambers, a good Krober ignition, and cheat a bit with alky. you've got a real rocket ship. a good guy on an RD350 with chambers only, on petrol would always give my 500cc Triumph a real hard time, and I used to ride my ring off. On my best day I led a C grade race full of Z900s H2s with chambers, and RDs. a couple of the fastest got round me at the end of the winton back straight and I ran off when they overbraked in front of me. The point is RDs are a real good thing. So go for it Mick! You can almost make a TZ out of 'em! All the racing bits fit, including the CR gearbox!

Is your machine authentic or merely eligible?
