I'm trying to find P5 legal disc brake wheels preferably 2.15 wide that will accommodate a twin piston front caliper.
Does anyone know what I can use?

It's for my KX125 based road racer.
But I don't think it matters - hopefully we'll be able to space disc or caliper to suit.

hey guys. a couple of quick questions for u. my old man has a floating disc set-up on a period 5 race bike but has been knocked back with log book. any ideas on the best way to go? we r looking for some new discs at the moment. does anyone have any, or know where we can get some? we need 300-310mm discs with about a 25mm offset from inside to outside. 5 bolt mount to suit a gsxr750 rim. any information would be appreciated, cheers.

At the moment it seems like we are stuck with replicas or original RG500 race bike floaters. But as from 2011 when the Rules may change there may be others as well. As long as they were manufactured before Dec '82. I haven't done any research, yet. Let us know what you find.

Planet discs in Knoxfield can help you.

Discs, almost as dumb as carbies. The current set of copies of the famed rg500 floaters must not be confused with the crop from the much later road going brother of the XR series (I think, help Keith if you are reading this) of gp suzuki racers that sported these disc brakes. The later versions were also named RG500 but were nothing like the older versions and the discs were different.

As for the copies, the ones Rex uses are manufactured by Manta Enterprises You must be logged in to see this link. He does some very nice stuff but at a price few but the truly serious can afford.

I think by 2011 we will be able to use any discs.

Too simple!
I wrote a submission a year or so back supporting the request that had already been submitted. We got knocked back.
If we try collectively we might get somewhere so maybe we need to start a petition.
