Two Wheel Torque is interviewing Gordon Rumble, Ken Rumbles brother soon. Ken Rumble was just about Champion of everything in the 50's and 60's from memory. Others may correect me please. We need a BSA Gold Star, an AJS, I guess a G50 and a Manx for display for 2- 3 hours.
Can you advise or help, call me on 03 9888 4387 or email through this site. The interview will be on a weekend over near Altona. John Beckley the producer is working that part.

Ken Rumble won a lot of races on Jimmy Guilfoyle's solo (unstable/shaky on two wheels)500cc Goldie No 99. I believe it was in a featherbed frame. It's still around, if you like I'll ask where it is now, I did know but I've forgotten! It came up in discussion a couple of years ago. The old fart who told me about it, is still alive! |
