The user "Fat1" has had their user account locked. All I can do is apologise for it. I have tried to stop as much of the SPAMMERS as I can.

On the plus side of it, no one else can see you e-mail address and they only sent it via the online form. I will be implementing where users have to of posted at least 10 posts before being able to e-mail other users via the forms along with the Anti-Spam code, which is the only way I can see it reducing further.

The only issue with this is that when users wish to enquire about something, then they will need to fit in to the 10 posts before e-mailing.

Should I implement this course of action? Please let me know.

David, has there been a real problem of use of email in this manner/ The other point is that spammers are getting smarter so perhaps it is best to hit them hard first. Lets face it, 10 posts is not a big request for commitment to a site for the priveledge of emailing a member.

the scammers just don't seemed to give up,persistant lot!!,i average about 1 a day where their recently deceased father's millions need to be transferred bull****e,also theres a lot of bike related sites that they're stuffing up,the VMX site was dismantled,& reorganised,i used to go to the early MV site,but it was hijacked by ****ers with 5min online diploma's crap,& "love to meet you blah blah,must drive the guys in charge of forums nuts!,i reckon 5-10 posts should sort the floggers out?,& how come their recently deceased brothers/uncles/fathers never have classic race bike collections they want smuggled out of their country,it's always leftover bodgy dealings/$quillions,suxs eh??,
