Can someone offer me any advice on where to obtain AvGas, about 25 litres worth? It seems to be awful hard to get hold of, and Ben and I are going to look pretty silly pushing the chair around Broadford making 'broom broom' noises.

I dont know Matt, I have had to do that a few times. Gives you shocking lap times.
Try any airport, maybe the one near Kilmore / Wallan.

Hi Matt,

Tysons fuels at Moorabbin airport will sell you avgas. I have bought it from there before.

They will want to see your passbook from Environment Aus before they will sell though (of course).

Cheers.

Well, I suppose even if we do have to push the chair we'll still win the majority of races...............(fightin' words!)

Wallan airfield closed about six weeks ago.
Just about all the buildings have gone.
Its now called Wallara Lakes - soon to be chopped up for house lots.

OK, thanks to the generosity and helpfulness that is typical of the sidecar folks, I am now officially DROWNING in avgas.

Thanks to everyone, and we'll see you on the weekend!

P.S. Regarding "dick" and "bitch".....next time you attend a fire out west, wear a raincoat. Bloody walloper.
