Hi all, just over a week to go until the Island Classic...and radio silence !! What's up ? Another good looking Bwitish team, lead by the outstanding Lea Gourlay (Suzuki XR69), McMartin and Beau Beaton both scheduled to gallop the Irving Vincents, Steve Martin turning out on a GSX1100 with all the usual suspects (except Wayne Gardner, who's gone missing in action from the pre-event publicity).
If nothing else, we're normally frothing on here each year about scraping up the bare minimum required of sidecar entrants. Are there enough ? If so, how is it we're suddenly blase about stumping up a good turnout of outfits after all those years of barely scraping up enough ? Once again, we've gathered a containerload plus two drivers from WA, so the interest is there, but on here you wouldn't know it was on at all ! Come on kiddies, FIRE UP !

I'm on Fire GD66........ I tell you I'm really on Fire Even had a 'Team Meeting' last night to discuss tactics (or was it to empty the beer fridge). |
