Alan, you know what, I've looked through a lot of the old threads in this forum and seen your performances on others. You form a very clear pattern. Can I simply say, with the best heartfelt intentions, for the love of God, just switch the computer off and get one of your bikes out racing! Just get one of them finished and out there in racing land. It doesn't matter if its not competitive. It doesn't matter if you're not competitive. It doesn't even matter if you're not the rider. It only matters that you get a bike on the track. That's it. People will be very supportive. You will be forgiven for all your email sins. Well, most of them! See you trackside, with bike.

Jaso, thanks for your kind thoughts. I'm presently in the middle of rebuilding the Norton, and it'll be up and going in a couple of months. I'll try to get to the Austin 7 meeting next April, and I'll have it out for the next champions ride day at Winton. Will you be there? |

Excellent news. Don't think I'll be at any Winton ride days soon. My next three or four rides all look like being at Broadford - Vic Titles, Hartwell, PCRA and possibly interclub. |
