I don't want to draw people away from this forum, but if you are interested in the 'big picture' about motor sport, Steve Rowe of Racetime has a new forum at You must be logged in to see this link.
It has a section on Motorcycle Racing generally and Historics, and there is a lot of info on how motor racing is run around Australia. Could be of interest to some of you regulars on this forum.
