The Victorian Historic management committee has decide to investigate if there is any interest in getting USA club based Historic Racers on holiday to come to Victoria for the Southern CLassic, the Island Classic and the Inca meeting in NSW. We thought such a plan may work. It has been done before with UK based riders. WE dont plan to pay transport or anything like that, maybe a reduced entry if the promoters agree, australian competitors may help with accommodation and transport. WE are looking for asistance in approching western american based clubs. Can anybody help?

G'day John, You must be logged in to see this link. is the website address for majority of US racers,(if you didn't already know?)might be a good starting point?,you would want to offer at least free entry,(our nth territory does that at the least!)maybe offer a bike to race on a reciprocating arrangement?,Dave Roper from N York has ridden Nortons supplied by Sydney based competitors, certainly adds a bit of colour to the meetings having o/s racers participating!,cheers Mick |
