We have plenty of room for machines within the existing program. Essentially we have all in races for Classic, the Post Classic , Sidecars and Pre war. I seek help in identifying what groups of bikes we could specifically include at Historic Winton within the existing race structure. The Class C team from Sydney may be agood start, please help with others. I wonder if our previuos idea of a push rod award would get support, so far it has not.

John, perhaps it's about time we started promoting the 700cc P3, and 750cc P4 classes. Al Kidd suggested that they should be championship classes this year, as they were run as support classes at Wanneroo last year. The class doesn't really have to be 'pushrod', just find a way to handicap the two strokes. CB750s are not a problem for a good bonneville or commando, as long as they are not 'over-capacity' |
Is your machine authentic or merely eligible? |

Keith Walsh dropped in today and asked if we could do something to get more P3 250, 350 machines back. He thought some sort of trophy structure or recognition of the smaller classes in the supp regs and the program might be a start. What do others think? |
