The MCRC of WA, a little miffed at being omitted from the Australian title series, last year ran a one-off meeting featuring some of the UK and Ireland's top roadracers, and encouraged by the response, are going in even harder this year. To be run on November 6th to 8th at WA's Barbagallo Raceway, this year's Kings of Wanneroo will feature :
Ryan Farquhar
Michael Laverty
Mike Swann
Ian Lowry
Keith Amor
Ian Lougher
Conor Cummins
Guy Martin
Simon Andrews
Brendan Roberts
Cameron Donald
Jeremy McWilliams
and a short list of Aussie and West Aussie stars, as well as three-time world sidecar Tim Reeves/Dan Sayle competing against a strong Aussie contingent including Shane Soutar, Stacy Sellar, Darryn Walker and others.
Could be worth a trip over, air fares are cheap at the moment...
