Mick, sadly, but predictably, our tv stations completely ignored them and thought we would prefer to watch a chat show instead.
It really annoys me when you can see the bikes on the track but we are forced to listen to irrelevant prattle from the commentators. Not good enough boys.
Cheers, John
P.S. are you coming down for the Southern Classic?

Mick,

The races at the island were good stuff, better than the main race because they were close. In the end the Vincent ridden by McMartin won one race, Scott Webster on his Kwak won another from McMartin but was reduced to second because of a jumped start and the third race was won by the Campbell RG500 from Websters kwak.

Robbie fell off damaging his front end, the Vincent got crunched in a separate incident sending poor old Craig McMartin to hospital.

A special riders meeting convened by the editor of AMCN was told that the oil leak by one bike nearly got all historics kicked off the program. A plea was made for all riders to be careful and not take risks and not go out if they suspected there was something wrong with their bike. Subsequently the editor of AMCN attempted to cut off the number four pot off his Honda utilizing the con rod of the said pot. Needless to say the subsequent oil spill did cause some concern. The irony of it all!!!.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone on the weekend, hopefully I'll make it past practice this year and not jump off at outrageous speed.
