Hey everyone,
I'm wanting to buy my first bike and I have a good idea of what I want, but I'm having some troubles. Not sure if I'm looking in the wrong places, but thats why I'm here!
I have a couple of bikes I'm looking for, either the Honda CB125 and the Yamaha rx125.
Where should I be looking? Are they around?
Also, are these good first bikes? OR are there some newer bikes just like these? I will be using it to just commute. Any advice would be great. Thanks all.
James.

Yeah? Where should I look? I guess thats whats holding me back now. I'm in melbourne. I've looked on most classic dealers online I could find, but no luck. Anyone in Melbourne know someone? :P |

StForget the classic dealers, they are unlikely to have one, and it is far from likely they would consider it a classic anyway!
Get on the phone and try the various Japanese wreckers around Melbourne, you may be able to find a project bike. Or, Just Bikes magazine or the good old Trading post.

Haha! Good point... Japanese wreckers is a good idea, but I would say I want something with minimal work...
Someone else suggested people who do complete rebuilds of old bikes like these, any ideas?
Thanks for everyones help so far :) |
