Hello all fellow racers and followers of sidecar racing. Just wanted to let you all know of a great weekend had by most at the South Aust Titles at Mac Park - Mt Gambier 27th - 28th Dec.
After numerous phone calls from the race secretary pleading for sidecars to attend, the Brass Balls team, including new recruits Peter and Sean (the sheep) Cheeseman headed to McPark for their title meetings. Disappointed to find only 3 P4s and 3 P3s outfits entered but hey, thats enough for a title race. And what a ball we had, great racing and lots of fun to boot, even the solo riders told us that they enjoyed watching the idiots on 3 wheels go round.
Congratulations to Geoff Grant and Craig who again showed that the 2 stroke Kwaka really does have balls and that Geoff can not only ride the thing well but fix it in a hurry also. Poor Bondy and I had some troubles on Saturday which included breaking a battery lead while in front of Geoff and Craig, which men't that Bondy rode 2 laps one handed while plugging in the battery, fun indeed. First title race saw Geoff fly off in a cloud of smoke (joking Geoff) and Bondy trying really hard to catch him, so hard in fact he twisted the throttle too hard and snapped the pull cable, bugger. And the autum leaf didn't fall at all.... In their first meeting Peter and Sean the sheep Cheeseman showed that they are going to give quite a few outfits a huge hurry up very soon. Was great to see the smiles on their faces each time they came in from a race.
Overall a terrific weekend, don't know what it is about the place but everyone just seems so happy to be there.
A little discussion held at the end between us all about trying to get more outfits there for the odd meeting or 3 as the people at Mc Park are very eager to please us sidecar racers. We will post some meeting info here and also do a ring around when we have details, so expect a call.

You can probably count us in down the track Bretta? This event was a little too close to Christmas for us, i.e. family commitments, and, the Pig's electrical problems from the come and try day were still present (simply a loose screw!!!! #%%^$%^&^&&%^) See you all at the island.
Cheers, Buck & Peen.

GR8 news.
I too would love to attend but Xmas and family are just too close for me to attend.
But lets find others who can make it.

My understanding is that the meeting will be held the weekend after xmas..... new year this coming year. I have spoken to a few guys an gals and they talking of making it a family thing which would be good.
Sorry GD don't know many results, but Mandy had bike problems, 350 threw a cam chain and 500 didn't want to play the game for one race, Keith Campbell did ok, the LC gang were just great to watch - full grid of close racing, P4-5 Laurie Fyffe (hope spelt that right) cleaned up on the P5 suzuki after the honda decided to drop some oil with Cookie right on his tail until he dropped it on turn one. But the best sight was watching the Old "Douglas" and other P1's going round the track .... so cool.
On ya Matt ...... more P4s to play with but no fast motors though .....hahahahaha.
Happy New Year to you all and see you guys at the Island yippee!!!!!!!!

Hey glad you had a great time guys. We certainly did despite the hassles with the bike. Thanks so much Bondy, Brett, Peter and Sean (the sheep!) for coming over and playing with us. Without you I would just have got my cheque returned again!
My guess is that no results are posted yet 'coz one of the key organisers went straight on to a short holiday after Mac Park. Something should go up soon I imagine - I will follow that up.
And Bondy, the pick of you (at the abovementioned link) going through the Clubhouse right hander illustrates exactly what we were talking about regarding tyre pressures... More air in side tyre is required methinks...

I agree Geoff bout the tyre pressure, but maybe that was my fault to for not getting over quick enough, was a little bit pooped .... but at least I have photograhic evidence now that he takes the water tower way to tight, was wondering how I got all the daisys on my suit. On the way home Bondy asked if we could do some MX sidecar stuff ..... sure why not, thats what we do when we go roadracing so whats new!!!!!! hahahaha
