I had thsi note from the club after I spoke to them about Bondy mentioning a few outfits may waddle over. Is there any interest?Hi John,

Thanks for the offer. We did say when we made the decision to drop the sidecars that if we got enough inquiries of definite starters then we would include them late in the program of events. We don’t have any locals here that have sidecars any more so we would be relying entirely on people from away to get the required amount of entries (6 min) to make it worthwhile to run. If you would like to be put on a list of definite starters if it were to go ahead, let me know & if I get the required min number before entries close I’ll let you know. Also if you know of any others then please tell them to get in touch with me.

With Thanks,

Phil McGee.

Unfortunately the "Pink Outfit" won't be there. I have a prior engagement that would be life threatening if I cancelled out (the boss is celebrating a very special birthday).
Cheers, Tony.

Yeah, I tried that, she accused me of not having my priorities worked out. I thought that I did! (The bruising is sure to disappear soon I'm told!)
NB. Buck might be able to source a rider and still bring the outfit. I'll give him a razz.
Cheers, Tony.

No, I am not going to have any sain person risk their life driving the pig, it tried to do me in at the come and try day, it has issues, sorry I cannot make SA this year.

By the way the Broadford track was missed, I can say from first hand experience that these fires are beyond beleif and our little communities have been smashed BUT it is amazing how we all give each other a chop out. What a great people we are....

See you at Borford (as they say in the hills)

Cheers from Kilmore

Yep, I plan on being there.
And John, I reckon we can rustle up a passenger if you want one.
See you all at Broadford first though...

I doubt I shall make it since I have not had a customer in my picture framing business since the fires.
My cash flow is not looking good at this stage.
Sorry about that.

Hi Everyone,
I have my entry in and so me with the list above which includes John Clancy, Pace, Peg, and Bondy (and I really thank you guys for making the effort) makes a total of 5.

BUT THEY NEED 6 to put us on.
So who else can we rustle up???
Come on John and the rest of you over that way, you don't have as far to travel as we do to get to Mt Gambier and as well as that we come over your way lots so it would be nice if you could come and play with us sometimes too.
So, entries close on 27 March but it will be too late if we get to that point and don't have enough. I have canvassed all the people I know but unfortunately there sidecars are sadly lacking over here at the moment so we are looking to you guys to help this time.
Cheers

Hi All,

I still haven’t received any firm commitments from any Sidecar Riders that have inquired as yet, there are still 2 weeks until entries close so there is still a fair bit of time. If you are certain you would like to enter or know of someone who would definitely enter if we run them please let me know. I received a message on my answering machine from a Sidecar Rider today that sounded like “John Cleans from Kilmore??” it was very hard to hear & he didn’t leave a return phone number. Does anyone know who this is and have his number? I had Allan Smith ring me last night as well saying that he had spoke to someone from Victoria that had said they knew of 5 outfits that were keen to come over. If we can just get 6 definites it will be a goer.

With Thanks,

Phil McGee.

Phil, that would be John and Chrissy Clancy from Kilmore (sidecar 38), I will get him to ring again. Just left a message on the pumpkin heads mobile.

Peen and I cannot attend, we will limp thorugh the Vic titles with wounded horses but 2010 will be a goer.

Cheers,

Buck
