In an effort to just get more people involved, HMRAV is thinking about holding a Competition entitled"Motorcyclist's in Action" or similair. What are your thoughts?

Does the comp. include a section for videos? I might be able to submit something interesting!

We are still looking for ideas, one advantage of stills is that they are a lot easier to manage. So at this stage I reckon still photography would be the go. It is for new photos of current machines in action. The concept being that snappers may attend current metings, get ghood shots and help promote Historic racing

I use a digital camera, computer and a DVD player to put a slide show on tape. All you need is a TV and VCR to view the pics. It's much cheaper than prints, and you can put a whole historic meeting on one tape. The only cost is two blank CDs and one blank tape!

Lets take any idea. But the original concept was to attract photographers to any meeting, get them showing their shots at photo club meetings bragging about their win in another photo copm. butmore importantly creating shots that many other people may learn about Historic Racing. The video concept is good also.

John, I am a member of Benalla Camera Club. Would you like to invite them to join in the comp. What is the prize? Is it a trophy?
Some of our members might like to photograph the October meeting at Broadford.

If you made the prize a bit good, the camera clubs might even take it on as an interclub photo comp.
