I thought this web site was devoted to promoting Historic Road Races! Guess I was wrong! How do the public get to know that Mac Park is on New Years Day 2004, and Phillip Island, at the end of January, if there are no notices posted? Are we trying to keep meetings secret, so the fast riders might not remember to enter, and we can sneak a win?

Well if someone like you would give me the correct dates, I could put them up online and let others know....

I don't know the correct dates. The only people who would know are the organisers, and riders from previous meetings, who might be sent entry forms. Seems bl**dy stupid doesn't it. What a bunch of losers were are? |

Does anyone know what the attractions will be at Phillip Island this year in January? Last year some almost unknown Italian rode a six cylinder Italian motorbike. The appearance wasn't advertised too much, we can't have our meetings flooded out by cheering Italians, like it happened in the old days when this certain Italian came out and cr*pped on everyone! Perhaps this year's celebrity will be John Surtees - WHO? (Just another pommie.) I really wonder why these historic meetings aren't properly advertised, when Ago, Umberto Masetti and Barry Sheene were there last year with a 350 Guzzi, Six cylinder and four cylinder MVs. Who knew they were going to be there? I must be getting old when I think these things (and people) are important. What's the story with these promoters, don't they want a crowd? |
