Hi All,

I am new to the world of Classic racing and have recently aquired a CB350 for post classic (thanks to Matcho Mick!), however I feel I would need some practice before hitting the competition races. My question is this; Are there any 'practice/tuition' classic race days held in Vic? If not, how about practice races on the main race weekends such as the Southern Classic/Vic titles?
Thanks for your help, I look forward to seeing you on the track!
Ben.

Cheers,
Ben.

Ben, There is a circuit ride day at Winton Motor Raceway near Benalla next Saturday 14th February. Starts at 8 am ends at 2pm, costs $50. You would be encouraged to join the Winton Motorcycle Club, however you'll get a ride in any case. Slow and Fast groups will be running. You'll need leathers or Kevlar jeans etc.
For more info ring Matthew Ronke on (03) 5766 4235.
Love to see you there and we'll probably even help you get the Honda going!
Best Regards,
Alan Cotterell

If that is the case how about coming up to Broadford for the Vic Titles as we can always do with an extra set of hands to help out with flag marshalling.
It also gives you the best spectator vantage point, lets you know what happens on weekends(ie racing formats, types of bikes etc etc)
My partner is only too happy to show you the ropes with whats needed or required and it would be good chance for ya to meet some of your potential competitors.
Hope to see you up there...

Regards
Neill
