Hi everyone, i'am a newby on here, but i am looking for some help and advise on the above topic.
I plan to come over for the Is Classic January 25th-27th, bringing over a Yamaha FZR400RR 3TJ-1 1989 race bike. I expect i would need to get some extra sprockets for gearing, compared to what we race with here in NZ. Anyone on here running a simalar bike, or could anyone help in this matter, would be much appreciated.

Rustys, last year P6 was only F750 and 1000 - I am not aware of them opening up to any other P6 classes at this stage - you could call Phillip Island or just wait until regs come out

As for gearing, depends on the bike a bit - what mods etc - I've got a mildly modified P6 750 and at PI run slightly higher than std gearing. I'd take a range of sprockets with me - wind direction can change quickly there, and especially on a smaller bike you can run up against a big headwind.
