The HMRAV is having trouble getting timers for the Southern Classic. Every company involved is booked for our weekend.

Consequently the Management Committees have been developing a plan to create a "Timing Group" to find, train and supply volunteers to events which need affordable timing services.

So we are looking for peopel who wish to be involved. The first training session will be on 30 August 2008 in Melbourne.
The proposal will involve covering limited expences, suppplying electronic equipment and hopefully providing enjoyment to people who want to be involved.
Either email myself, the MV office or call us on 03 9888 4387 to put your name down.
In time more info will be on a web site.

Would we need to purchase the transponders if you use any such system?
