I have just purchased two CB100's (1970 I think) which I am looking to restore for road and hopefully track use.
I have never attempted any restoration work (my daily ride is a new Yamaha R6) but I saw these two bikes in desperate need of a tidy up and I am super keen to get them running first, then registered.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could source parts, and how I should go about the process? There is not a whole lot of information regarding rebuilding these old bikes that I have found so far.
Progress Report: All stripped (didnt take long) Engine has been pulled down - found piston ring in approx 20 pieces Wiring was a huge mess - going to be fun to put back together Suspension seems to be OK Frame was just dirty with red mud, not rusty which is great.
Next stage is to degrease and pressure wash the frame and to look at rebuilding the engine.
